Most of today's young adult men recall playing with action figures such as GI Joe and army vehicles as children. Now, those toys have gotten far more advanced and sophisticated.  The RC tanks of today are battery powered and controlled with a remote that transmits control signals to the on-board receiver, allowing the tank to drive around and even fire the miniature tank turrets guns. Obviously, they’re not just for kids anymore.

The simple RC tanks can be the fun radio-controlled toys that children love and enjoy. The simple models are only a fraction of the total number of RC tanks being produced. There are RC tanks for collectors, tank kits for the custom builders.  There are more sophisticated tanks with electronic that include cameras, infrared guns for mock battles. A lot of collectors’ RC tanks carry high price tags because of the precise scale to which they are built. They feature the designs of many of the full-sized World War II tanks such as those used by General Patton at the Battle of the Bulge, one of the decisive battles during WW2. Collectors value high-quality materials and detail more than the fun provided by the toy. However, the “toy” RC tanks of today have some very advanced features as such as airsoft cannons and battle abilities.  Give a child (Or a man-child) a military toy and he will want to fight it.
