RC Monster Truck Headquarters

Just as with the real thing, RC Monster Trucks (MTS) have become very popular with the RC public.  They now account for a huge sector of the rc car and rc truck market.

They can be purchased ready to run (RTR) or in kit form, either nitro or electric powered, and come as both scale and non-scale models.  Performance and quality of modern day MTs is excellent, and they rival most of the other rc cars on the race track.

RC Monster Trucks are built very strong and can take a surprisingly large amount of punishment and abuse. They are almost impossible to roll  because of the wide track wheels.
Due to their nature they can be driven over just about any of terrain - just like their big brothers (even over your friend's rc car...)!

While top speeds are not effected much by having either 2 or 4 wheel drive. A MT with all 4 wheels powering it over the ground obviously will be more able to cope with heavier terrain than a 2 wheel drive MT. Of course, the transmission systems for 4 wheel drive Monster Trucks will be slightly more complex, but this shouldn't bother you. These days rc cars in general are very 'user-friendly', and features are designed to be as simple and maintenance-free as possible. Even so, with all of the bashing they are subjected to you can expect some degree of maintenance especially if you and your truck participate in this bashing.
