If you are looking out for a cheap RC helicopter, then the gas RC helicopter is out of the question, since they  come at a high price. Actually they are more expensive than all of the other types of model planes and helicopters.  Another downside is the noise. A gas powered  helicopter is just plain loud. it generates a lot of noise as does a real helicopter.  It likely could not be flown at night.   If you are looking for a helicopter that you could learn easily, then again, find another model as gas RC helicopters are difficult to fly and require some experience.

Another favoring a gas-powered RC helicopter is they helicopters resemble real copters in many ways. They are closer to the real ones with their physical configuration and the way they are flown. Every pilot will feel excited flying a model that is similar to the real one and this makes flying more fun.
